The Keswick Alhambra Cinema is on St John’s Street in Keswick town centre (just up from the main square going past Greggs).

We have up to fifteen different films every week to choose from, including all the latest blockbusters, arthouse, indie, kids, family and outdoor adventure films. Family owned and operated, and with a warm welcome, we’re not like the big chains or multiplexes. Instead, we’re one of the oldest, continuously running cinemas in the UK. Opened in 1914, and run throughout both World Wars, we closed only for the Covid pandemic. We used that closure time in 2021 to finish the restoration of the cinema, and we now have two screens, the latest digital projectors and Dolby sound systems, a new lobby area and the prettiest cleaned-up, red brick façade in town to enjoy too.
