Rookin House is an established adventure venue in the Lake District and has been offering a wide variety of outdoor activities for nearly 40 years. Family owned and operated, Rookin House has a strong focus on fun & safety creating special memories. Rookin House is just four miles from Ullswater, eight miles from both Keswick and Penrith along the A66, and easily accessible from the M6 J40. All of the activities are based on-site with Blencathra providing a spectacular Lakeland backdrop. The team caters for individuals, family groups through to large groups for a variety of special occasions. There is also group self-catering accommodation on-site in the form of three 16th Century converted barns.
