Percy House gallery opened in May 2002 in a grade II-listed building which dates back to 1390. Its unique features include a Tudor ceiling featuring the Percy coat of arms, medieval panelling and inglenook fire place. Its seven rooms are the ideal setting for the unusual arts and crafts on display and the gallery hosts a large selection of work by more than 200 Cumbrian and British artists ranging from jewellery and textiles to ceramics, paintings and photographs.
