One of Britains Oldest and Cumbria's BIGGEST Livestock Shows County Showfield, Crooklands, Nr. Kendal. Lane Farm, Crooklands, just off Junc.36 on the M6. There's something for everyone. Open all day from 8am to 5.30pm. There's a free bus service to/from Kendal + Free car parking.

A full day of family entertainment from 9am - 5pm. in Grasmere, near Ambleside. Displays and events, Hound trails, Wrestling, Crafts & Antiques - over 150 Outdoor Trade Stands. DON'T MISS IT!!

15/08/2010 - LAKELAND COUNTRY FAIR

A great family day out near Coniston on A595/A5084. Plenty of attractions. Show starts 12 noon, free car parking. Adults £5 - reduction for children

14/08/2010 - DALSTON SHOW

Just 4 miles from Carlisle city centre, make it a family day out. As well as the very popular cattle classes the show offers a place where local people can show their crafts, covering everything from flower arranging to photography. The trade stands attract exhibitors from all over Cumbria, the north of England and south west Scotland.

Carlisle Race Course, Carlisle. So much to see and do for all the family. Prize winning animals, farm demonstrations, horses in action, sports, crafts & lots of entertyainment. DON'T MISS IT !

04/07/2010 - WEST CUMBRIA VINTAGE RALLY

Held at Hayescastle Farm in Distington.
Wonderful collection of vehicles from steam engines to military vehiches. Fairground for the children. Open 11am - 5.30pm.
